Going to this school I hear it all the time... becoming WORLD CHANGERS (and the choir of angels begins to sing). But in reality I don't see it at all. BUT I WANT IT!!!! In all honesty, past all of the stupid associations with the phrase: We need to change the world. I know 'I' can't do this, BUT I do know that God is going to do it. Hearing all of these herendous statistics and all of these cringing facts about the lost in the world I wonder why, what, when , and how. Why is Islam the number growing religion in the world? Why had Christianity slowed in the growth? Why do I cry when I think of the hopeless of the world? Why are people not responding to the GOOD NEWS that is truly awaiting them?

Obviously God is NOT dead. He is still moving even without "Christians" and "Missionaries" in the remote places of the world. Moving through dreams and visions is just one of the many things that God is doing without the physical assistance of the church. I honestly begin to feel sinck when I think of our churches today. What is our mission, who is wholeheartedly devoted and in love with Jesus Christ. If I didn't have an experience with the word and God myself I honestly would not be a "christian". I really even feel like disowning this "religion". I am sick of it.

Again this sounds incredibly cheesy, but I honestly just want to know Jesus more. I want to see the power of my God in the real world. I want to see REAL change take place in this world. I don't want to hear that "thousands made commitments to Christ" I want to see that the crime rate is decreasing, that bars are closing, that clubs are turning into worship raves... okay I know it seems silly and almost impossible but you know what- my God is the one who created this earth, He is the one who parted the red sea, who brought the dead back to life, who makes light come from a headlight without any buld, who heals the sick and blind, who frees the captives, and who can change the hearts of men. Why am I not seeing my God today- in this world that we live in right here right now? Why are people choosing rigid discipline over free love?

Think about this- Hitler is known all over the world for the horrid, indispicable things that he caused. Do you realize that before he could do all those things he had to get people to join with him in his cause. People to support and rally with him. God was NOT on Hitler's side and yet he still did this. Why couldn't someone have faith enough and obedience enough to actually see effects at the magnatude of those of Hitler to happen in this world. Amazing, awe inspiring change to effect the world like never before. Real God in real world with real people. It is possible. R U obedient to the call? Do you have faith that it could happen?
